So when she posts an ad detailing exactly what she is looking for, she is delighted to hear from Kristie–someone who is a novice within this particular scene, but who is an eager and quick study. The two email and talk on the phone, and arrange to meet one afternoon in an anonymous motel by the road, for their own Showdown in Room 103.
Before getting started, the two women agree on a safe word, as well as what they will and will not do. When Julie says she “likes it rough”, this includes hair-pulling, grabbing each other´s tits and crotch, slapping, and punches in the stomach. Author Liz Edon expertly describes these sequences in the hotel room with a kind of brutal sensuality, giving readers the chance to smell their sweat as they pinch and jab and tease one another in a tumble of wrestling, fighting, and rough sex. When one emerges victorious, the story shifts to depicting scenes that include a variety of toys familiar to those who enjoy BDSM erotica.
Liz Edon has definitely carved out her own original niche within a genre that is crowded with imitators and followers. If curious about broadening your horizons within your reading of lesbian erotica, Showdown in Room 103 is an excellent place to start. In addition to cat fighting and smoking, this story also includes role-play, humiliation, BDSM with various toys, and fisting.

Katie, the titular character of Bryant Quiovers´ extremely taboo erotic novella, wears tight shorts slung down on her waist, cut-off shirts that emphasize her large breasts, and doesn´t hesitate to use her sex appeal to help her junkyard business thrive. She also doesn´t mind satiating her own sexual appetite with whomever is nearby. At the top of Junkman´s Daughter, she and her BFF Julie attend a lake party with a group of people, and after consuming a considerable amount of alcohol “turn out” one girlfriend with a strapon they had stuffed in their bag next to their swimsuit while another girlfriend is having a gangbang with three guys in a nearby tent. Later, after stealing all of the money from the wallets of their passed out “friends”, Katie drops a half-sober Julie back at home, where her cousin Bo proceeds to have sex with her.
Ostensibly, there´s the outline of a plot regarding a rival business and pressure from rival suppliers, but Katie´s grand strategy to defeat her competitors is to hire some well-hung new employees, outfit one of her warehouses with some mattresses, and bring over the wives or girlfriends of the guys who screwed her over so that her guys can “turn them out”. But the main interest in Quiover´s highly explicit novella (which requires getting past a substantial amount of poor grammar and misspellings) seems to be the taboo, particularly depictions of incest. Julie´s daughter Rebecca, a college-age student who is portrayed as exceptionally smart but about as emotionally warm as an algorithm, engages Bo (her second cousin) to teach her about sex so she can later “succeed in business”; later, when it is revealed that Julie (Rebecca´s mother) and her best friend are actually half-sisters–and that Rebecca is also Julie´s daughter!--the two call an ex of Katie´s to have a foursome in the junkyard´s office. Junkyard´s Daughter is over the top smut, and designed for folks who seek sexually explicit depictions of sex between women as well as men and women, a little femdom and dubcon, and a helluva lot of scenes between first cousins, second cousins, siblings, mother/son, and mother/daughter). But just in case anyone forgot: Quiovers´ book is just fiction.
